Forever homes wanted

The majority of animals we care for cannot be rehomed for various reasons - however, for those that are rehoming candidates, we do all we can to find them the perfect forever home

Most of the animals we rehome are cats and kittens but sometimes we have dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, and hedgehogs in search of a new home or emergency foster care.

If you are interested in providing a second chance to a Hallswood animal, please email hallswoodhomes@gmail.com.

Please ensure to include the following in your message:

  • Your name and address

  • Your contact phone number

  • Details of any children and pets in your household

  • Species, age and sex preference of animal

  • Any other relevant information

Please note:

  • We rehome animals based on their suitability and personality, not colour

  • All rehoming applicants will be subject to a home-check, and we reserve the right to refuse an application if we deem a home unsuitable

  • For their own safety, we cannot rehome cats on or near busy/main roads unless it has been indicated that they can live as indoor only cats

  • An adoption fee of £85 per cat applies

Animals looking for a forever home

Cats: Mumma and Son

Location: Horsford

Mumma

Mumma is less than two years old and she arrived at Hallswood Animal Sanctuary with her three small kittens, two of which have subsequently been rehomed together. We are now hoping that someone will provide a loving forever home for both Mumma and her son so that they can spend the rest of their lives together.

Mumma is a friendly girl who has a lot to say for herself and her son is a mischievous kitten and full of character.

  • Mumma is in good health and has been microchipped, neutered and vaccinated

  • Mumma's son has been microchipped and vaccinated but will require neutering when he is six months old

  • Mumma and her son can live with calm children

  • Mumma and her son can live indoors only or with access to a secure garden

  • Mumma and her son do not want to live with other cats

  • Mumma and her son do not want to live with dogs

Cats: Patch and Blackie

Location: Horsford

Patch and Blackie 1
Patch and Blackie 2

Patch and Blackie are both males aged around four years.

These handsome boys are very affectionate and laid back, and they would love a home where they are the only cats so they can get all the fuss and attention they deserve.

  • Patch and Blackie are in good health and have been microchipped, neutered and vaccinated

  • Patch and Blackie can live with children over 12 years of age

  • Patch and Blackie can live indoors or with access to outdoors

  • Patch and Blackie do not want to live with other cats

  • Patch and Blackie are not dog tested

Cats: Felix and Amy

Location: near Horsford

Felix
Amy

Felix and Amy are brother and sister aged approximately 2.5 years. They were abandoned outside a vet practice in a carrier bag and have subsequently done very well in foster care.

Felix (black and white) is affectionate and outgoing - he loves a fuss and will let you know he is happy by lots of purring. Amy (tortoiseshell) is a little more reserved but equally undemanding – she has a lovely personality that will really shine through in the right home.

  • Felix and Amy are in good health and have been microchipped, neutered and vaccinated

  • Felix and Amy can live with children over 12 years of age

  • Felix and Amy can live with other cats

  • Felix and Amy are best suited to a rural home, but this is not essential

  • Felix and Amy are ideally looking for a forever home together, but can be separated if necessary

  • Felix and Amy are not dog tested

Cats: Tilly and Jasper

Location: near Horsford

Tilly and Jasper 2
Tilly and Jasper

Tilly (female) is 14 months old and small for her age. She is adorable and loves to be on a lap and enjoys plenty of fuss. Jasper (male, black) is considerably bigger than Tilly. He is a very easy cat who also enjoys lots of attention. Neither cat pushes boundaries.

We doubt that Tilly and Jasper are related.
