Michelle works at our horse-field at Ringland and seems her happiest when she is knee-deep in muck 😀 Like most Hallswood staff she seems to have an endless amount of energy and I don't think I have ever seen her NOT smile 🙂
Hi there Michelle!
How long have you worked with Hallswood?
-I have worked for Hallswood for nearly 2 years!
Could you tell us more of what you work with?
-I mostly work with the horses and ponies. Alpacas, a couple of pigs, a goat, a sheep and not forgetting Jerry the cat x
What is your favourite part of working for Hallswood?
-My favourite part is working outside and of course all the horses. and how being outside is brilliant for your mental health.
And dare I ask what the worst part is?
-The worst part is getting wet in winter and all the mud, saying that with all the fundraising we are slowly getting the mud under control x
What would you say to encourage someone to help us by joining our crazy family of volunteers?
-I’d encourage anyone to come and volunteer no one is judged and we are all a little crazy in our own way. You get to learn about our wildlife and help them when they need it most. Every bit helps no matter how small.
What is your favourite British wildlife?
-My favourite would be a fox x
Famous last words: what is your favourite saying?
-Not sure you want to put into print my favourite saying ‘for FOX [She might have spelt that differently 😉 ] sake’. A more appropriate saying ‘everything happens for a reason’ or ‘every action has a Consequence’
